JAMMU, Aug 2: To ease the process of admission in DIT University 2021-22 session, the university started online counseling from today till 6th August 2021.
Vandana Suhag, Registrar, DIT University said that to make the admission process easier for the students from all over the world in the session 2021-22, the university is conducting online counselling. Students can visit the University website www.dituniversity.edu.in to register and attend the session. The preliminary phase of counseling will run from August 2 to August 6. Students waiting for their marksheet for current session can upload previous year marksheet to participate.
The university has decided to admit the high performing board exam toppers with the provision of direct admission. Students securing 85 percent or more marks in intermediate examinations are eligible for direct admission.
Apart from this, students domiciled in Uttarakhand will benefit from 40 per cent reservation for them as well as 26 per cent fee waiver. It is mandatory to register on the website to attend the session. Candidates appearing in the online counseling process and completing all the formalities will receive an e-mail on their registered e-mail id regarding further admission process, scholarship, fee-payment schedule and hostel and transport details. The seats will be allotted from August 7 on the basis of qualifying marks.
