JAMMU, Aug 2: The Finance Department today ordered payment of Dearness Allowance at the revised rate of 28 percent of basic pay to the Government employees, pensioners and family pensioners.
The revised rate of DA, which was earlier 17 percent, will be effective from July 1, 2021.
Two separate orders to this effect–one for the Government employees and another for pensioners/family pensioners were issued by Financial Commissioner (Finance) Dr Arun Kumar Mehta, who is also the Chief Secretary.
