One more Amarnath yatri dies, toll climbs to 26

SRINAGAR :  One more pilgrim died during the pilgrimage to the holy Amarnath cave shrine in south Kashmir Himlayas, taking the toll to 26 since the commencement of the 59-day-long yatra.
A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan and two service providers (a porter and a ponywalla) also died during the pilgrimage since July 2.
A yatra official said 69-year-old Satyender Prasad Singh, resident of Chewani Bihar, suffered a massive cardiac arrest at Pahalgam while returning from the cave shrine. He was declared brought dead at local medical camp. (AGENCIES)
