SRINAGAR : One more pilgrim died during the pilgrimage to holy Amarnath cave shrine, taking the toll in the ongoing yatra to 40.
A Yatra Control Room (YCR) official told UNI that 68-year-old Ramadan Mishra, resident of Vishrampora, Nepal, suffered a massive cardiac arrest at Sheshnag on traditional Pahalgam yatra route.
He was immediately taken to a nearby medical camp where he was declared brought dead.
The 59-day-long pilgrimage commenced from July 2 and will conclude on August 29, Rakshbandhan. (AGENCIES)
