One killed, two injured in road accidents

JAMMU, Nov 6: A man was killed while two other were injured in two separate road mishaps in city outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, Nitin Kumar son of Ved Prakash, a resident of Bhaderwah and Gopal Singh son of Gulrah, a resident of Thathri, was going on their bike registration No JK02AD-9682, when the bike rider lost control over it and it collided with a wall along the road in Bagh-e-Bahu area.
In the mishap, both Nitin and Gopal received serious injuries and were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where Nitin was declared as brought dead by the doctors while the condition of Gopal was stable, when the last reports came in.
The body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for conducting autopsy tomorrow.
Meanwhile, another accident occurred at Rajpura area of city outskirts, where a bike bearing registration No JK06-7289 collided with a mini-bus bearing registration No JK02AA-9784. In the mishap, the bike rider whose identity could not be ascertained, suffered injuries and was shifted to hospital.
In both cases, the concerned police have taken cognizance.
