JAMMU, Nov 6: 7th State Speedball Championship 2015-16, organized by J&K Sports Speedball Association, was declared open by Kavinder Gupta, Speaker J&K Legislative Assembly in an impressive function at MA Stadium, here today.
Over 1000 players drawn from the State are participating in the Championship.
The players are from 55 different schools and 6 districts of the State.
The players were distributed in three batches for 3 daylong event and the third day will be the closing ceremony.
Rattan Lal Gupta was the special guest on the occasion, while patron of the Association, Pooja Malhotra was also present on the occasion.
Executive committee members including Er SP Langer, chief advisor VK Sharma, advisor secretary Ravi Tikku, VK Gupta, Pawan Kumar and the board members of the Association were also present on the occasion.
