One killed, two injured as car falls on mud house

DODA, Apr 28: A man was killed and two women were critically injured today when the car they were travelling in skidded off the road and fell on a mud house here, police official said.
The accident occurred near Dunadi village in the district when the car bearing registration number JK06-4842 was travelling from Gandoh to Doda on the Thathri-Kilhotran road, he added.
The driver, Abdul Latief, son of Saif Din of Thathri, lost control over the vehicle while passing a curve and the car rolled down the hill and fell on a mud house near the banks of a river, leaving him dead and critically injuring two passengers namely Rozia Bano, daughter of Mehraj-ud-Din and Zohra Begum, wife of Sajaid Ahmed of Thathri, who were rushed to a hospital, he stated.
The roof of the mud-house suffered extensive damages in the mishap but its occupants escaped unhurt, the official said.
A case under relevant sections has been registered at Thathri Police Station and investigation started.
