JAMMU, May 27: One person was killed and another got injured today when two bikes collided with each other at Patyalachak on Gajansoo Road, under the jurisdiction of police station Domana.
“The mishap occurred this morning at about 9:30. The bikes involved in the mishap were bearing registration numbers JK02AN 5731 and JK02AW 3406,” a police official said.
He said in the mishap, riders of both the bikes received serious injuries. The injured bikers namely Rahul Kumar son of Mohinder Lal, resident of Marh and Nitin son of Madan Lal, resident of Marh, were rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where Rahul passed away later.
“The body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital while a case in this connection was registered at police station Domana and investigations started,” the official added.
