JAMMU, Jan 4: A man was killed while another seriously injured due to electrocution in Bathindi area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, the man identified as Naved (26) son of Jaffer and resident of Muzaffar Nagar (UP) was killed on the spot while another man namely Tabrez (25) son of Zrar of same residence, was injured when they came in contact with a High Tension wire while laying aluminum sheets on the raised portion in front of a house.
The dead body of the deceased has been shifted to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, for conducting post mortem while the injured is under treatment in the same hospital and his condition was reportedly stable till the last reports came in.
The concerned police have taken cognizance of the matter.
