UDHAMPUR, Oct 2: One person died and another was injured when a tractor rolled down into a deep gorge at Radhnote in tehsil Moungri, here today.
Reports said that the accident took place this morning around 8.45 am when the tractor, bearing registration number JK14H-7187, skidded off the road and slipped into deep gorge.
Police and locals rushed to the spot and shifted the injured persons to PHC where doctors declared one of them as brought dead.
The deceased, driver of the Tractor, was identified as Kulvinder Singh (29), son of Romesh Chander, resident of Lalli in Teh Moungri. The injured was helper and his identity was established as Lochan Singh (32), son of Romal Singh of Radhnote, tehsil Moungri.
