KATRA, June 11: One person died and another was injured when their car collided with a stranded water tanker near Meadi area on Katra-Jammu road, here today.
The deceased was identified as Angrez Singh (20), son of Parshotam Singh of Bhagta Katra. The injured, namely Shamsher Singh, son of Onkar Singh of Bhagta, was shifted to Katra hospital and his condition was stated to be stable.
The Maruti car, bearing registration number JK02H-8666, was on way from Jammu to Katra when it collided with water tank, which was stranded on the roadside. Angrez Singh, who was driving the car, died on the spot.
