SRINAGAR, July 29: One person was killed and 9 other injured in different road accidents across Kashmir valley today.
A police spokesman said that on Sunday, a man, Habibullah Dar, son of Abdul Rehman Dar of Preth-Maquam, Beerwa, who was injured near JVC, Srinagar succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS, Soura.
The spokesman said that a tipper, JK03A/3008, collided with a motorcycle, JK03A/4414, at Bijbehara, resulting in injuries to the motor cycle rider, Manzoor Ahmad of Redwani. He was removed to a hospital for treatment.
An Army vehicle, 05B90028, hit a motorcycle near Power House, in Ganderbal district, resulting in injuries to three persons. The injured were shifted to hospital for treatment, the spokesman said.
In another accident, five persons travelling in a Maruti car, JK01F/7245, turned upside down near Baba Reshi crossing in Tangmarg area. The injured were shifted to SKIMS, Soura, for treatment, the spokesman added.
