One killed, 4 injured in blast

LEH, May 30: One person was killed and four injured when a shell went off while labourers were collecting scrap.
A police spokesman said that, five labourers from Jharkhand were collecting scrap from the army’s firing range in Leh, 470 km from Srinagar, when the shell went off.
Arjun Singh, son of Surjeet Singh, died on the spot because of this accidental explosion while four people working with the deceased were injured.
The injured were shifted to a hospital, where their condition was stated to be stable, when reports last came in.
Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
