JAMMU, June 2: A man was injured today in a clash between two parties over some land dispute in Kanachak area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, Vijay Kumar son of Kheru Ram, a resident of Rajpura (Kanachak) received serious injuries on his head when one of his relative namely Rajpal son of Pola Ram (living in same village) accompanied by some unidentified person attacked him with a ‘Drati’ (a sharp edged weapon used to cut green fodder for animals) following a heated argument between them over some land issue.
He said in the attack Vijay received serious injuries on his head and was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment while police had registered a case against Rajpal and one of his unknown accomplice.
