One injured as tigress, cubs take shelter in house

Excelsior Correspondent Srinagar, Dec 27: One person was injured today after a tigress and her three cubs descended from the adjacent mountains and took shelter in a house in South Kashmir's Pulwama district. A tigress and her three cubs were roaming in the village Aditrag-Sangarwani of district Pulwama since last night. The tigress and her cubs have taken shelter in the house of Dawood Gorsi as locals from other localities crowed the place.

A tigress and her three cubs were roaming in the village Aditrag-Sangarwani of district Pulwama since last night. The tigress and her cubs have taken shelter in the house of Dawood Gorsi as locals from other localities crowed the place. "We couldn't sleep the entire night due to fear," Gorsi said Police said the tigress jumped out from the house, but left the cubs in the house. The police said Zafar Gorsi was hurt as the tigress escaped from the house and has been hospitalized.
