RAMBAN, Dec 27: As part of Army’s multidimensional efforts in empowering the students of Jammu and Kashmir, especially girls, Rashtriya Rifles Battalion based at Nachlana under Delta Force took another step to bring smiles on the faces of students by conducted Inter School Kho-Kho Competition for girl students at Govt High School, Nachlana, here.
The objective of the Tournament is to encourage sports amongst the girl students to identify budding sports talent in area.
The final match was played between Govt High School Nachlana and Govt Middle School Khari. The match was won by Govt High School Nachlana. The final match was followed by prize distribution ceremony.
Sarpanch and Chairman of Nachlana were the chief guest on the occasion and presented the winners and runners-up teams trophies and other prizes. Beside gifts, cash awards were also awarded to the winners and runners-up teams.
