JAMMU, Jan 30: Arnia police today arrested a bootlegger with illicit liquor.
“On specific input regarding selling of illicit liquor, a team of police station Arnia led by SHO Inspector Tilak Raj arrested a man namely Anil Kumar alias Mithu son of Prem Chand of Biaspur (Suchetgarh) while he was selling illicit liquor (desi liquor) made illegally near his house,” police sources said.
They said that 19 pouches of illicit liquor measuring 4 litres of liquor was recovered from the possession of the accused. In this connection, a case FIR Number 04/2022 U/S 48 A of Excise Act was registered and further investigation taken up.
