JAMMU, Oct 18: GRP Jammu arrested a person along with 3 kilograms of ganja from Railway Station Jammu.
As per police sources, during luggage checking at Railway Station Jammu, 3 kilograms of ganja was detected in a bag.
Acting swiftly, the personnel of GRP Jammu arrested the owner of the bag, who has been identified as Mukesh Kumar, a resident of Bihar.
The accused had brought the consignment of narcotics from Bihar to distribute it among the young generation here, but his nefarious designs were thwarted by GRP.
A case under FIR Number 15/15 under Section Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered at GRP Police Station and investigation started.
