DODA, Feb 19: Police along with other security forces have arrested a person with Chinese pistol and other ammunition.
A handout of the police department stated that 7 Bn SSB, 26 RR and J&K police at a special mobile check post in Jangalwar near Police Station Thatari arrested one person identified as Aadil Iqbal Bhat son of Mohd Iqbal Bhat resident of Sazan, Baghwa.
He was in contact with Mohd Amin alias Khubaib resident of Kathawa, Thatari having affiliation with Lashkar-e-Tayaba and who ex-filtrated to Pakistan in 2007.
The recovery made from the arrested person included one Chinese Pistol, two magazines and nine rounds of ammunition.
