RAMBAN, May 14: Police in Ramban arrested a man and recovered charas from him.
Sources informed that cops from Police Station Ramban during a routine patrolling duty in Nai Basti area late last evening apprehended a man from near Rehmat Masjid. He disclosed his identity as Adil Ahmed, son of Abdul Latief Sheikh, resident of Nai Basti, Tehsil and District Ramban.
During his personal search, Charas weighing about 201 grams was recovered and a case in FIR No. 111/2026 under Section 8/20 of the NDPS Act was registered in this regard at Police Station Ramban and investigation started.
