POONCH, Oct 17: A labourer died after a tractor met with an accident at Deryan near Ajote in Poonch today.
Official sources said that a tractor bearing registration number JK12- 4307 was on its way from Poonch towards Puni Tada area when reached Deryan, met with an accident in which one labourer died on spot.
They said that a driver and two labourers were travelling in it. One of the labourers died while, driver and another labourer were injured. The deceased was identified as Mohd Sharief, son of Sher Ali Khan, resident of Ajote in Poonch.
A doctor at DH Poonch said that he was brought dead and after all legal formalities, body was handed over to the family for last rites.
Station House Officer, Ranjit Rao said that a case vide FIR number 213/2022 under sections 279, 304A IPC has been registered in Police Station Poonch.
