SAMBA, June 12: One person died in a road mishap while a house wife consumed some poisonous substance in two separate incidents at Raya More and Barota Camp today.
According to police Vicky Sharma son of Puran Chand of Akhnoor was hit by an unknown vehicle while crossing the road at Raya More today when he was on his way to his routine work in a rice mill resulting in his instant death.
The Vijaypur Police has registered a case and the body was taken to Ramgarh Hospital for postmortem.
Police said Sushma Devi , wife of Ravi Kumar of Barota Camp in Ramgarh area took some poisonous substance today.
She was rushed by her in-laws to Vijaypur Hospital where from doctors referred her to GMC Jammu for treatment. Her condition was stated to be critical. Vijaypur Police has registered a case under relevant sections.
