POONCH, Nov 12: A retired CRPF personal was killed in a car accident at Seri Khawaja in Mandi area of district Poonch this afternoon.
Police sources said that mishap took place when, 43- year-old Nassir Hussain Shah, son of Ghos Ali Shah, resident of Gursai in Mendhar, had gone to Seri Khawaja to meet his relatives. His wife and three children were also accompanying him.

While returning home, when he was reversing his Alto (K-10)car No.JK12B/ 0651, Nissar lost control and car rolled down into nearly 300 feet deep gorge. His family turned lucky as it was waiting outside the vehicle for return journey.
Immediately after the mishap, locals of the area rushed down the gorge for rescue operation and they later brought out the dead body. After some time Mandi police also reached there. The body was shifted to Mandi hospital for post-mortem and then handed over to the family for last rites. Nassir had retired recently from CRPF, the police said.
