UDHAMPUR, Feb 18: One person died after a bus carrying marriage party, rammed into a hillock near village Bindla in Ghordi, here today.
The marriage party was on way from Bindla to Kltyar when the mishap took place. Locals took the injured person to PHC where doctors declared the victim as brought dead. No other person was injured in the mishap.
The deceased was identified as Sanjay Kumar (19), son of Romesh Kumar of Bindla.
Meanwhile, driver of Tata Mobile had a narrow escape when his vehicle caught fire due to some technical snag near Malad Morh on the National Highway. The vehicle JK14B-5245, was on way to Jammu from Udhampur.
