UDHAMPUR, Dec 14: A motorcyclist killed and his pillion rider critically injured when the two-wheeler bearing number JK14C-7314 they were riding skidded off the road.
The mishap took place at Mand, Tikri on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway in Udhampur.
The deceased has been identified as Rakesh Kumar (26) son of Bansi Lal of Mand while the injured, identified as Ashok Singh (23) son of Rattan Singh also of Mand.
The injured was admitted at District Hospital Udhampur and was undergoing treatment till last reports.
After the accident locals shifted the injured persons to District Hospital where doctors declared Rakesh Kumar as brought dead.
