JAMMU, Dec 14: Congress leader and civil society member, Shamsher Singh Bhandari today urged the Government to take proper steps in ensuring the supply of ration and other essential commodities to the people in far-flung and snow bound areas of twin districts of Kishtwar and Doda.
In a statement issued here, today he demanded that Governor’s administration should issue instructions to concerned departments to ensure supply of ration, K Oil, LPG and other essential commodities to the people in far flung areas of Kishtwar and Doda districts where people have been put to problems due to snow fall.
He also reiterated the demand that local skilled and unskilled youth be given preference in employment in Pakkal Dool Power Project and urged the constructing agency to keep its word of giving 3000 employments to local youth.
