SRINAGAR: Former Chief Minister and working president of the opposition National Conference (NC) Omar Abdullah today skipped the Governor’s address on the opening day of the Budget session held at S K International Convention Complex (SKICC)on the bank of Dal Lake here today.
Mr Abdullah did not attended the House today, the opening day of the 35-day-long session. He is representing Beerwah constituency in the House from central Kashmir district of Badgam.
However, the entire NC members, who were on their toes when the Governor N N Vohra started his address, later walked out from the House, demanding revocation of Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA), National Food Security Act (NFSA) and other issues. (AGENCIES)
