SRINAGAR, Aug 1: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has sanctioned relief of Rs 1 lakh in favour of Abid Ahmad Dar, a Shikarawala who lost his life in an accident near Boulevard road when a vehicle fell over his Shikara in Dal Lake.
The senior National Conference leader Mohammad Sayeed Akhoon met the Chief Minister in this regard today and discussed the issue. He also discussed various development matters pertaining to Srinagar, particularly Hazratbal Constituency.
