Omar led Govt committed to provide basic amenities to people: Slathia

SAMBA, Nov 4: Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Vijaypur and senior vice president, National Conference (NC), Surjeet Singh Slathia assured the people that the State Government led by NC is committed to provide basic amenities to the people of the area.
He said this while addressing elections meetings in Jakh Chandla, Salmeri, Gupwal, Pekhri and Nathwal in Vijaypur constituency.
Slathia said that the Omar Abdullah led Government has ensured equitable development of all the regions of the State, adding that the main attention has been given by the Government for up-gradation of the basic facilities and infrastructural of various priorities like quality education, water and power supply, better medical health care facilities for the benefit of the people of remote and far flung areas.
He added that NC will continue to lead J&K towards development to ensure that the youths of the area continue to reach new frontiers in the field of self employment business.
He further said that Omar Abdullah is a young and dynamic leader and he took decisions and initiatives to cater to the needs of our youths and facilitated their inspiring journey in their academic and professional suits.
Slathia said that Omar led Government over the last six years brought an educational revolution in the State with opening of Central University in Vijaypur constituency, district and sub-district colleges, up-gradation of schools with modern equipments and science laboratories established through out length and breadth of the State to give fillip to the employability of our youths.
He further said that we facilitated thousands of small and medium scale industrial units in the State, which provide employment to thousands of unemployed youths.
Among other present were Jatinder Singh, Tirath Ram, Rachpal Chand, Ramesh Lal Sharma, Master Lal Chand, Mohinder Kumar, Varinder Singh, Naar Singh, Panchs and Sarpanchs.
