BUDHAL, Nov 3: Rashtriya Rifles Battalion, based at Samote, under Uniform Force distributed benches, desks, black boards and chairs to Government Higher Secondary School, Gota near Budhal, today.
The furniture was distributed with an objective to provide better infrastructure for the education.
The school is imparting education to around 816 students of nearby villages. The school faculty had requested the Indian Army for improvement of basic amenities in the school. The Indian Army heeded to their requirement as part of their responsibility of carrying out development works in remote areas and distributed the requisite furniture to the school.
Sudhakar Sharma, Principal, Jasbir Singh, Sarpanch and the school authorities appreciated the Indian Army for this noble gesture.
