RAJOURI, Nov 1: Senior National Conference (NC) leader, Choudhary Liaqat Ali today said that the performance of the Omar led State Government has been stupendous in last over six years which has benefitted all the three regions of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh and their sub regions.
Addressing a large public meeting at Nadian here, the NC leader said Omar led Government has all along worked for the welfare of downtrodden people and those living in far-off and border areas.
He said it is all because of Omar Government and that Nadian and Planger has managed to get the status of Block while Ujhaan got the status of Niabat. The NC Leader said these areas remained victim of discrimination despite being close to Rajouri town and thus lagging behind in development.
He announced that Omar Government has also given approval to two receiving stations, one each in Nadian and Ujhaan. Besides this, the Government has also started work on restoration and repair work of two bridges in Nadian.
Earlier, the public of Nadian and Planger gave a warm reception to Choudhary Liaqat Ali on his arrival at Nadian. A large bike and car rally was also taken out from Ujhaan to Nadian.
