Omar convenes meeting of NC functionaries from Bandipora

SRINAGAR, July 6: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference vice president Omar Abdullah today presided over a meeting of Party’s constituency in-charges of district Bandipora at Party headquarters here today.

Among others Party’s general secretary Ali Mohammad Sagar, Provincial president Nasir Aslam Wani, MP Baramulla Mohd Akbar Lone, former Deputy Speaker Nazir Ahmed Gurezi, Provincial secretary Showkat Ahmed Mir, Ghulam Rasool Naaz, Advocate Nazir Malik, Advocate Hilal Lone, Women’s Wing President (K) Sabiya Qadri, YNC president (K) Salman Ali Sagar attended the meeting.
During meeting, wide range of issues concerning the party were discussed. However, party affairs, prevailing political situation in all the three segments of Gurez, Bandipora, and Sonawari in Bandipora district and organizational matters dominated the interaction. During meeting, Omar gave an ear to the issues raised by all the in-charges and others functionaries.
During interaction with the party members, Omar stressed on the party’s workers to identify and project the issues of the general masses in better way. He said public is badly suffering on different counts and cadre must raise their issues strongly.
Later, Party general secretary Ali Mohd Sagar, Provincial president Nasir Aslam Wani, MP Baramulla and North Zone President Mohammad Akbar Lone; Central Zone President Ali Mohd Dar; Provincial secretary Showkat Ahmed Mir, Provincial Vice President (K) Syed Tauqeer Ahmed, and district presidents Peer Afaq Ahmed, Qaisar Jamsheed Lone, Javed Dar, Sheikh Ishfaq Jabar, Altaf Ahmed Wani, Abdul Majeed Bhat Larmi, Showkat Ganaie, Abdul Ahad Dar and other functionaries called on the party vice president at his residence. The visiting functionaries discussed prevailing political situation, party affairs and organizational matters with the vice president.
