Omar condemns killing of numberdar, alleged Govt not serious

SRINAGAR:
Strongly condemning the killng of a numberdar by gunmen in south Kashmir, former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today alleged that People’s Democratic Party (PDP)-Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) coalition Government was no serious over security of civilians.
Mr Abdullah questioned the PDP-BJP Government’s political will and seriousness to ensure the safety of civilians in the State. During a visit to his Beerwah constituency today, he condemned the killing of 43 year-old Mohammad Yousf Bhat, Nambardar of Village Vagum in Pulwama and expressed condolences with the bereaved family.
He said the Government’s callousness over such tragic incidents was unfortunate. (AGENCIES)
