MENDHAR, Sept 19: An elderly man was robbed of Rs 30,000 cash which he had withdrawn from the local SBI branch today.
The two boys noticed 75 year-old Mohd Sadiq of village Banola in Mendhar withdrawing Rs 30,000 cash from the bank. They started chasing, on the way they found old man thirsty and moving towards nearby hand pump. While one of them helped the old man to push pump for him the other one held his belongings containing cash and escaped. Both the cheat escaped. Later, the old man lodged a complaint with the local police. The youth could not be traced.
