SAMBA, Nov 8: A male passenger today died after apparently falling from a moving train in Samba district here.
He has been identified as Jamol Singh, (80), son of Kour Singh resident of Pouni district Reasi.
According to Police sources, Jamol fell from Pooja Express near Basanter Bridge in Samba and died on the spot. On receiving information about the mishap, the Railway Police reached the spot and recovered the body and shifted it to District Hospital Samba. The dead body has been kept in a mortuary there.
A case has been registered and investigations are on.
