Srinagar, Nov 8: A man was killed and three were injured in multiple road mishaps across Kashmir valley.
A police spokesman said a Santro car bearing registration number JK09-5982 hit a Scooty at Lalad village of Sopore in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district, resulting in critical injuries to Scooty rider identified as Shaheen Ahmad Dar.
“The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital Sopore where he succumbed to his injuries. Police have registered a case and investigation is on,” he said. The spokesman said a swift car bearing registration number JK09A-5425 hit and injured 8-year old girl identified as Rutba Akhter at Kupwara. The injured girl was shifted to SMHS hospital Srinagar for treatment, said the spokesman, adding that police have registered a case in this regard.
The spokesman said a vehicle bearing registration number JK18A-0065 turned turtle near Titanic view close to Jawahar Tunnel, resulting in injuries to two persons identified as Sabzar Ahmad Mir and Sartaj Ahmad Mir. A case has been registered in this regard, he added.
