Obey Vedas

Swami Ramswarup Ji,
Yogacharya

Study of four vedas and views/experiences of ancient as well as present Rishi-Munis conclude that Vedas are divine preach of God. It further makes all of us understand that eternal and real definition of God does not appear anywhere else but in the Vedas and therefore God is He Who Himself describes His divine qualities in Vedas like Being immortal, Almighty, formless, eternal, everlasting, omnipresent, omniscient, without any nervous system, does not come in the cycle of death and birth, cannot be divided into parts, the purest, can never be indulged in illusion, sins, impurities and has been showering the knowledge of Vedas to the public at the time of beginning of every universe truly and eternally. (Yajurved mantra 40/8 refers).
Yajurved mantra 8/36 educates that no matter which exists in universe is as supreme/excellent as the Almighty God. Yajurved mantra 27/36 also speaks that no body equivalent to God has been or ever will be born on the earth.
So, isn’t it that God is one, would ever remain one and is the most wonderful, worshippable entity hidden in the universe, who is required to be known – realised by human-beings, because according to Vedas, without worshipping God, no human-being can get peace, happiness and final liberation. Also, the main motto of four Vedas is to realise God. Let us also pay our attention towards Rigved mantra 2/23/1 which throws light that God is Supreme amongst all the wealth of the universe and common folks, He is Lord of all worldly matters, omniscient, omnipotent, seer amongst seers, omnipresent in the form of divine light in all worldly matters.
Keeping in view, the said divine qualities, we accept and pray to God to manifest in our hearts.
Similarly, in Atharvaved mantra 9/10/15 the soul, duly attached with mind, states that I donot know myself whether I am this who exists or otherwise. I donot recognize my form correctly. The reason of not knowing is that I am covered with veil which has hidden my original form. When God showers blessings and I start listening to eternal preach of Vedas which originates in the heart of four Rishis, in the beginning of every universe, then without any delay, I attain the eternal knowledge, realise myself and God.
Every human-being wants happiness/pleasure and in this connection, Yajurved throws light that to overcome the sorrows, most painful suffering of death and to get pleasure, the aspirant will have to follow the vedic path to realise God, Who is the form of divine light; otherwise there is no other way.
So, fundamentally when there is no other way except to follow Vedas, to destroy sorrows, then I think, people are not aware of the said fact because they are not habitual to listen to Vedas.
Vedas further preach that the God has generated sixteen divine qualities/matters to be attained by human-beings, by following Vedas, which are as under-
1.) Ikshann (thought), 2) Prann (vital airs), 3) Shraddha (firm decision on eternal truth), 4) Akash (space), 5) Vayu (air), 6) Agni (fire), 7) Jal (water), 8) Prithivi (earth), 9) Indriyan (organs of sense and action), 10) Mann (mind), 11) Ann (food grain), 12) Veerya (power), 13) Tap (austerity), 14) Mantra (vedic knowledge) 15) Karma lok (the place of doing bodily actions), 16) Lokonmeinnaam (to know the names of all the visible and non-visible matters)
Because all such matters exist within the Almighty God, that is why, He is also called Shodashi. Otherwise, He is having unlimited knowledge of such divine qualities/matters.
The study of above article concludes that-
Vedas are divine preach of God and not of any human-being.
The eternal and factual definition of God exists in Vedas only.
God is most supreme in the universe.
God is one, unchallengeable, unchangeable and is most wonderful entity hidden in universe.
If soul attains the eternal and everlasting knowledge of Vedas, which is preached by God in the beginning of every universe, then soul without delay starts vedic worship and attains salvation.
To overcome sorrows, sufferings of most painful death and to attain peace, the aspirant will have to worship according to vedas.
God is Shodashi.
In view of the above, when there is no other way except to follow Vedas to destroy sorrows then naturally people are not aware of the above quoted fact of Vedas because they do not listen to Vedas. And hence they donot worship God according to vedas, as was done by our ancestors of previous yugas and attained peace.
So, to establish the eternal truth in our hearts, we have to obey Vedas and not self-made views against the Vedas.
