OBC Deptt of Cong providing essential commodities to needy people: Dogra

JAMMU, May 11: The OBC Department of Pradesh Congress Committee J&K today briefed National Chairman OBC AICC, T.D Sahu and Home Minister of Chatisgarh on handling of COVID-19 situation by the Centre and J&K administration in the Union Territory.
In a video conferencing Chairman of the OBC Department, Suresh Kumar Dogra gave feedback to AICC Chairman about the overall situation due to the lockdown and claimed that the initiative of Congress president, Sonia Gandhi to provide rail fare to migrant labourers was hailed by common masses.
He further said, as per the instructions by JKPCC president, G.A Mir, the OBC Department is performing its duty to provide essential commodities to the needy people.
Dogra told the AICC leadership that the helpline numbers and email provided by the J&K administration are allegedly inclined to some blue eyed people and are not for all.
He also said that the stranded people are unable to take proper permission to move to their native places.
Dogra claimed that Congress party is trying its best by making its outreach to common masses to help them in all possible ways by adopting legal instructions.
