JAMMU, Mar 1: The eighth OBC Adhikar Tiranga Yatra concluded at Akhnoor.
The Yatra had started from Hari Singh Park in Jammu and was led by Kasturi Lal Basotra, chairman J&K OBC Mahasabha along with Mohan Lal Pawar and others.
It was also taken out in Reasi, Udhampur, Sunderbani and it culminated at Akhnoor
The participants in the Yatra said that J&K OBCs have rejected 12 per cent reservation in Government services and 10 per cent in Rural and Urban Local Bodies as at present the population of OBCs in J&K is 42 per cent.
They demanded caste census with separate column for OBCs like SCs and STs.
