JAMMU, July 25: National Secular Forum (NSF) today held a protest demonstration for setting up AIIM in Jammu.
Led by NSF president Sukhdev Singh, the protesters raised slogans for setting up AIIMS in Jammu and against ruling BJP.
Addressing the gathering, Sukhdev Singh said that BJP had been raising issue of discrimination at all the forums but ever since it joined the Government as coalition partner, its leaders were themselves adopting a silent posture over discrimination with Jammu.
He accused the BJP of betraying people of Jammu despite giving a written commitment for AIIMS and warned a mass agitation over the issue.
Among those who were present in the protest, included, Vikram Madhyal, Barket Tahir, Zulfi Singh, Qayoom Malik, Ajaz Shah, Reshikesh Rana, Amit Sanotra, Jagdev Singh, Varun Kumar, Navjot Singh, Sunil Kumar, Neeraj Kumar , Sanjeev Kumar and others.
