JAMMU, Sept 9: Renowned Dance Exponent NrityaShree Deepak Dutta bestowed with ‘Performers Ikon Award’ as Trendsetter and Youth Ikon, in a function held here today.
The function was organized by the Performers Group in association with Agri Industries Vikas Chamber.
The award was presented to Deepak Dutta by Dr. Urja Singh, the Chairman of Performers Group, in presence of founder Director AGRI Industries Vikas Chamber, Dr. Manoj Gupta and Director Clean Dot Green Fuels Pvt. Limited, Varun Gandotra.
Event comprised of Singing and Dancing competition in which total 23 Singers, 31 Dancers, 5 Duets and 7 Groups from Jammu, Kathua, Udhampur, Akhnoor, Sunderbani and Doda tried their luck.
Music Composer, NB Naresh, Singer Rohit Sharma , Dance Teacher IDRS Vinay Sultan and NrityaShree Deepak Dutta were among the adjudicator of the Competition.
Earlier, Deepak Dutta gave showstopper Classical Performance based on Raag Bahaar with Navrasa, which got huge round of applause.
Besides the competition Awards were also given to achievers of the society in the field of Media, Social Service, Education, Arts and Health.
Among others who were present during the event included Brijesh Gupta, renowned TV Artist Rajni Anubhav, Dogri artist, Kanta Sharma, actor Vishal Magotra and Ms India Face Samiksha Ranyal.
