JAMMU, May 9: Star India in association with National Youth Project India and Progressive Youth Society-an NGO organised an award ceremony here today.
Padmashree Professor Shiv Nirmohi was chief guest while president National Youth Project India, Manoj Sharma and chairman Star India Indore, Vijay Singh were guests of honour and Miss India Glam Face 2021, Amrita Shrivastva from Kolkata was present as celebrity guest.
For outstanding contribution in the field of Performing Arts (Dance), Nrityashree Deepak Dutta (Classical Dance Performer & Exponent from Jammu Kashmir UT) was bestowed with Indian Excellence Award 2022. The award was presented to him by Padmashree Professor Shiv Nirmohi.
Others who received Indian Excellence Awards in different categories were Dr. Karan Prakash Zarkar from Bashi Maharashtra (Teaching), Dr. Thalapathi S.K Athaimoolam from Mumbai (Social Services), Ravi Thakur from New Delhi (Youth Activist), Shantnu Goutam from Uttar Pradesh (Cultural Activist), Kamal Dani from West Bengal (Youth Ikon), Radley Gupta from New Delhi (Nature Awareness) and Romesh Annamulae from Aurangabad (Child Welfare).
Nrityashree Deepak Dutta dedicated this Award to his parents and artist fraternity of J&K.
Professor Shiv Nirmohi applauded the efforts of Deepak Dutta and appreciated his work and achievements in the field of Performing Arts.
