NPP to repeat 2002 performance, claims Mankotia

UDHAMPUR, July 11: National Panthers Party (NPP) State President and former MLA, Balwant Singh Mankotia claimed that his party will repeat its 2002 performance in Udhampur.
Addressing a monthly meeting of party workers here today Mankotia said that his party has launched many programmes at Panchayat level and is receiving huge support from general masses.
He said that during the tenure of NPP elected representatives, Udhampur district witnessed huge development.
“Unfortunately the newly elected representative has failed to provide equitable development of the hilly district,” he maintained adding that many development schemes particularly in education sector have been halted in Udhampur especially those of upgrading education system.
He further said that during the tenure of NPP many schools were upgraded and educated unemployed youth of the district got jobs.
He said that present elected representative has been failed to upgrade the power infrastructure and make available potable drinking water but remains busy in inaugurating macmadized roads.
He assured that NPP will complete all the development works in Udhampur after coming to power.
