NPP, BJP leaders lodge complaints against each other

JAMMU, Dec 5: Manju Singh, Nationalist Panthers Party (NPP) candidate from Khoon Territorial constituency in Ramnagar tehsil of Udhampur district and BJP activist Prem Chandan have lodged complaints and counter complaints against each other for assault at Majalata police station.
Manju Singh, who happens to be the wife of senior NPP leader and former Cabinet Minister Harshdev Singh has alleged assault by Prem Chandan and other BJP workers at village Kail in Khoon Territorial constituency for the District Development Council elections and lodged a complaint with Majalata police station.
Prem Chandan has also lodged a counter complaint against Manju Singh at the same police station.
Manju Singh and former MLA from Ramnagar and BJP leader Ranbir Singh Pathania’s wife are pitted against each other among others from Khoon Territorial constituency.
Police sources confirmed that the NPP and BJP leaders have lodged complaint and counter complaint against each other and said the complaints are being investigated.
