Now Uttar Sampark Kranti to halt at Manwal Station: Jugal

JAMMU, June 16: A long pending demand of people of Manwal and adjoining areas was fulfilled today when Uttar Sampark Kranti Express stopped at Manwal Railway Station, this morning as per the latest decision of Railways Ministry.
Jugal Kishore Sharma, Member Parliament, travelled from Jammu Railway Station to Manwal Railway Station to observe the first day of stoppage of Uttar Sampark Kranti Express at Manwal Railway Station.
While addressing the gathering at Manwal station, Jugal said keeping in view of the problems of the people of Manwal and adjoining areas, he raised the demand of stoppage of Uttar Sampark Kranti train at Manwal Station while plying from New Delhi to Katra and vice-versa, with Railway Minister, Suresh Prabhu, which was fulfilled today.
He said that a large number of people of Manwal, Kishenpur and adjoining area has to ply more than 70 km to travel through Uttar Sampark Kranti train which was very uneasy for them but from today onwards their problem has been solved once for all.
