Notorious thief among 2 arrested

JAMMU, June 12: Narwal Police arrested two persons including a notorious thief here.
As per police sources, a complaint regarding theft of cash from five shops were lodged at Police Post Narwal and accordingly a case under relevant Sections was registered at Police Station Bahu Fort and hunt was launched to nab the accused.
To work out the case, a team from Police Post Narwal led by SI Achal Rana was constituted under the supervision of SHO Bahu Fort Inspector Nayat Ali, SDPO East Syed Zaheer Abbas Jafari and SP South Mamta Sharma.
The team put in hectic efforts and nabbed two persons including a notorious thief.
The arrested persons were identified as Mohan Lal, son of Nanak Chand of Bakol District Reasi and Raju Messi, son of Naku Messi of Sainik Colony District Jammu.
It is pertinent to mention here that Raju Messi was a notorious thief as several cases already stands registered against him.
Further questioning of the arrested persons is going on to ascertain their involvement in other theft cases.
