JAMMU, Jan 12: District Magistrate Jammu has slapped Public Safety Act (PSA) on a notorious drug peddler.
As per police sources, District Magistrate Jammu has slapped Public Safety Act (PSA) on a notorious drug peddler.
The accused has been identified as Rattan Lal alias Piddu, son of Tunda Ram, a resident of Agra Chak, RS Pura.
The dossier was prepared and submitted to District Magistrate Jammu through proper channel.
District Magistrate Jammu granted order regarding detention of criminal under PSA and in compliance, a team from RS Pura Police Station has lodged the drug peddler in Central Jail Kot Bhalwal.
The drug peddler was involved in various criminal cases registered with different police stations of district Jammu.
Police team led by SHO RS Pura Inspector Bishnesh Kumar executed the PSA warrant under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Choudhary and SP Headquarters RC Kotwal.
