JAMMU, Nov 17: An alleged drug peddler was booked under the stringent Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (PIT NDPS) Act here, police said.
Suresh Kumar alias Kokal of Ward Number 8, RS Pura, Jammu, was arrested from RS Pura, they said.
“Kumar is a notorious criminal who was involved in several cases of drug peddling. A warrant of arrest under the PIT NDPS has already been issued against him by Divisional Commissioner Jammu,” said police.
The accused has been shifted to the District Jail in Kathua, added police.
