JAMMU, Jan 17: Bishnah police nabbed a notorious criminal, who was evading his arrest for the past 6 years.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Bishnah Police Station led by SHO Inspector Deepak Pathania conducted raid and apprehended a notorious criminal, who was at large since 2014.
The accused has been identified as Ranvijay Singh alias Rammi, son of Surinder Singh of Village Harsa Dabber Tehsil Bishnah District Jammu.
He is a notorious criminal against whom 5 FIRs have been registered including 4 in Police Station Bishnah and 1 in Police Station Samba. Court had also issued arrest warrant under Section 512 CrPC against him.
The accused was produced before court and has been sent to judicial custody at District Jail Ambphalla.
