REASI, July 24: Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Prasanna Ramaswamy G, today issued detention order under Public Safety Act (PSA) for a notorious criminal namely Sachin Singh alias Sachin, son of Karan Singh of Gran Morh, Reasi, who was involved in many criminal activities in District Reasi.
As per the contents of the dossier, which was prepared by SSP Reasi Tahir Sajad Bhat, the accused was found involved in various cases registered against him in the jurisdiction of P/S Reasi and P/S Katra under various FIRs i.e, (1)FIR No. 90/2012, U/S 452/323/34 RPC, (2)FIR No. 86/2014 U/S 341/323/336/427/382 RPC, (3)FIR No. 122/2014 U/S 452/323/34 RPC, (4)FIR No. 80/2016 U/S 341/506/34 RPC, (5)FIR No. 126/2018 U/S 452/325/427/506 RPC, (6)FIR No.139/2018 U/S 307/147/148 RPC, 4/25 A.ACT .
The warrant in this regard was executed by SI Abdul Kabir and the detenue was informed the grounds of his arrest and was today sent to Kot Bhalwal Jail Jammu by District Police Reasi.
The PSA on Sachin Singh has been imposed for the period of three months.
